If you're interested in working for yourself as an independent contractor. Affiliated Medical Services, LLC. is looking for a Part-time Mobile Phlebotomist.
Job Details:
- The candidate/phlebotomist is responsible for obtaining vitals, drawing blood, urine, EKG, and medical history.
- The candidate will travel to the patient's location for appointments.
- Paid per appointment/event, this is not an hourly or salary-paid position.
- Bi-Weekly Pay.
- Some travel expenses are covered depending on the location of the appointment.
Responsibilities:
- Traveling to specified locations to obtain samples above as required.
- Gathering mandatory information from patients and verifying their identities.
- Obtaining vitals, blood, urine, medical history, and EKG's
- Accurately labeling all samples.
- Maintaining accurate patient records, which include detailing any medical issues experienced by patients during venipuncture procedures that may affect the accuracy of test results.
Minimum Requirements:
- Proven experienced phlebotomist.
- Valid driver's license.
- Valid Auto Insurance.
- Excellent customer service & communication skills.
- Knowledge regarding HIPAA law.
- Detail-oriented.
- Professional, responsible, and self-starter with excellent attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation is a must.
